About Us

Jivan Sanrakshan opened its doors to the people on 23rd April 2018 with an aim to engage in providing Health and Education services to people in need. Founded by Mr Aditya Chauhan and Mrs Reema Chauhan, with the blessings of his father, Shri RS Chauhan (Patron of the Jivan Sanrakshan), the NGO is tirelessly working to enable helping hands to people in need in whatever capacity it can. The name ‘Jivan Sanrakshan’ is a reflection of the mission and vision of the NGO. it seeks to be the guardian and support of people in need, with a core focus on well-being and the education sector.

Pillars of Jivan Sanrakshan

At Jivan Sanrakshan, we extend helping hands for primarily two purposes, 1st one being Health and 2nd one being Education. Wondering why? The two pillars, Health and Education, can uplift a person’s life to many levels. We believe that if you have a healthy body and the right knowledge, then you can not only help yourself but go ahead and help others in society too.

The time of Covid turned our lives upside down. In the post-Covid era, a lot of things have changed for good, owing to the new normal. Healthcare is that one sector that has undergone a major change in recent times. Covid taught us a lot we did comprehend them all to provide better aid to people. This is why we niched down in this area and decided to build a one-of-a-kind blood bank. While there are many blood banks functioning in India, our stand is different from theirs. As per general practice, when you donate or give blood in a blood bank, it is stored, and the optimum validity of stored blood is approximately 35 days. Although, with the right care, it may last up to 6-12 months. Secondly, you can only take/use the blood of the blood bank to which you have initially donated your blood. However, during the Covid times, such pre-written conditions posed many issues for common people, and that is when we decided to tap into this sector and built a multi-functional blood bank that is not restricted by such additional conditions.

At Jivan Sanrakshan, we do not store blood rather, we are building a strong network of volunteers who donate blood directly to the person/family in need. We operate in a simple manner wherein when a person in need of blood contacts our centre, we connect him/her with one of our volunteers (from the same area) who will donate the blood on time to the concerned person. At the same time, when our volunteers or anyone in their family need blood (at any given point), we make sure to provide them with it. This creates a network and we are working towards making it big. Our volunteers shall be present in every nook and corner of the country so that anyone in need of blood does not have to worry about procuring it! Apart from blood donation, at Jivan Sanrakshan, we also procure and provide medical equipment to low-income families who cannot afford them but are in need.

Education is the most powerful tool that can transform the world. Also, with the right education, you can win the world! This is why at Jivan Sanrakshan, we also seek to help young minds in their studies so that they can become independent, support their families (in future) and become responsible citizens of India. To facilitate the same, we have opened ADIMA Academy, an institution that provides primary and higher education to low-income families by taking only a small amount of money as fees. However, we don’t have a set limit on the payable amount, and families pay the fees as per their respective capacities.

Apart from our contribution towards education and health, we have ventured into providing Hindu Pilgrimages packages at subsidised rates for people. At the same time, we are under plans to open the Pilgrimage packages at pocket-friendly rates for other religions as well. Furthermore, Jivan Sanrakshan also provides helping hands towards the marriage of girls who come from low-income families.

The Founder’s Vision

The seed of Jivan Sanrakshan was sown by Aditya Chauhan, who is passionate about giving back to society in whatever capacity he can. He says, ‘not only soldiers or government employees can serve the nation, common people can too do it if we the intention.’ So, just like the valiant soldiers on the border, we can come together, make efforts and do something valuable for the society we are a part of. With a strong belief in this premise, he started with small charity works but soon realised that it is not enough. That is when one of his

Eventually, Mr Aditya Chauhan started Jivan Sanrakshan with his wife, Reema Chauhan and got it registered in 2018. Since then, the NGO has grown and onboarded passionate volunteers who are consistently working to reach every corner of the country and help people. As a founder, Mr Aditya believes there is still so much to do and so many more people to help. This is why Jivan Sanrakshan is on the journey to build India’s biggest ‘Blood Network’ and is calling for passionate people to join the bandwagon as well as become a unit of this network.

No matter in which city you are residing, what is gender, caste, creed, sex or colour, we accept volunteers with open arms. Once you become our volunteer through blood donation, we will give you a card that has lifetime validity. However, if you just become our volunteer without blood donation, it is valid for 1 year. So, this is a shoutout to all the people; come forward and be a part of our mission to make the largest blood network in India.
